Heat Diffusers / Vapor Chambers
The heat pipe has been established in the market as a reliable thermal conductor for several years. However, heat pipes conduct heat only in an axial direction and, without additional components such as thermal coupling elements, can only transport heat point-to-point or one-dimensionally. This is where the new heat diffusers from QUICK-COOL come into play. They allow heat to be conducted in two or even three dimensions. Heat diffusers operate like a heat pipe using a two-phase cycle. Heat is absorbed at a heat source through the evaporation of a working fluid, usually water, and released at the heat sink through condensation.
While a heat pipe has a cylindrical shape with a relatively small diameter, limiting heat transport to the axial direction, heat diffusers are "surface heat pipes" capable of absorbing heat at any point and dissipating it to cooler areas. This design enables more versatile and efficient heat distribution across surfaces.
